A White and Green Summer Wedding
I'm all about color when it comes to flowers, but I'll always have that love for a classic white and green look. I LOVED Rachel's choice to go with whites and greens for her May wedding. On such a hot summer day, the palette was so crisp and bright that I think it was the perfect fit.
I met with Rachel and her mom leading up to the wedding and could not get over how kind and laid-back they were. Chatting with them over coffee was such a pleasure and they were that sweet and calm even on the wedding day.
For Rachel's bouquet we used fluffy white peonies as the showstoppers that just continued to open up in that Texas heat. For accents we used white scabiosa, tulips and sweet peas among other touches. Her wedding was prime time for my favorite base— spirea. For the rest of the greens we used a mix of eucalyptus, some dusty miller for that dusty blue look, and my favorite green right now, variegated pittosporum. For the boutonnieres we used some fluffy white lisianthus and bits of greenery for accents.
