Barrett’s room is my favorite room in the house— it’s warm, cozy, peaceful and everything I envisioned for our baby boy’s room. I’ve been dreaming about this space for years and getting to finally put it all together was so fun and special for me. Seeing him sleeping in his crib and rocking him in our cozy corner is still surreal to me.

My inspiration for his nursery was honestly just that I wanted it to reflect our style with touches of baby haha. I wanted it to feel peaceful and warm and have unique vintage elements with stories behind them. I’m so happy with the way that it all came together and can’t wait to watch Barrett grow up in this room.

CRIB

I love his crib SO much. It’s exactly what I envisioned for the room. It’s from Pottery Barn and was a sweet gift from Grant’s parents. He’s still sleeping in a bassinet in our room but he takes a nap each day in his crib and it’s the cutest thing every.

CHANGING TABLE/DRESSER

The dresser is from Target and it’s actually supposed to be a changing table, I just didn’t get the changing table top and instead added the changing table basket from Design Dua that matches our bassinet. I’ve loved this setup so much!

The basket storage thing is from Hobby Lobby and it holds all the burp clothes, pump parts, toys, plain onsies, etc.

vintage cabinet

The olive green cabinet is the first piece I bought for the nursery and really was the main inspo for the room. I bought it off Facebook marketplace so I don’t have a link to it sadly. It was an orange color when I bought it and my mom helped me paint it this beautiful green using paint from Melange paints which was a dream to paint with. We ended up using the same color for the beadboard accent wall!

Rocker

My dream rocker! This rocker is the Minna Rocker from Pottery Barn and I got it in the material ivory performance brushed boucle. It’s a small space rocker and I love how it fits in the space. I didn’t get the ottoman that goes with it and instead got this brown leather one from Target. I ended up taking off the legs on it and adding black vintage looking wheels so that it was easily movable!

RUG

The rug is from Target and it’s perfect! It’s soft and cushiony and the perfect size! And affordable too:)
